Skudan – The School of Dawn

The name Skudan comes from a simple yet powerful idea: the School of Dawn. For us, dawn represents new beginnings — the first light that breaks the darkness, the moment hope returns. That is what we want Skudan to be for creatives: a place where new talent rises, where fresh opportunities begin, and where dreams take their first steps into the light. Skudan is not just a production company; it is a movement to inspire, to educate, and to empower. Whether through films like Apples and Oranges, talent initiatives like the Monologue Challenge, or partnerships with platforms like FilmJoint, we are committed to being a school of dawn — a place where stories are born and futures are shaped.

Skudan Monologue Challenge 2025 – Giving Talent a Stage to Shine

At Skudan Production, we believe talent deserves a platform. That’s why we launched the Skudan Monologue Challenge 2025 — an initiative designed to discover and empower the next generation of Nigerian actors. Why the Monologue Challenge? For many aspiring actors, opportunities to be seen are limited. Auditions are competitive, and platforms are often reserved for established names. The Skudan Monologue Challenge was created to change that — to give anyone with passion and creativity the chance to showcase their skills to a wider audience. How It Works The rules are simple: Perform the official Skudan monologue (script available on our social media pages). Record your performance (maximum 60 seconds). Post on Instagram or Facebook, tag @SkudanProduction, and use #SkudanMonologueChallenge. Entries close on September 30, 2025, and the winner will be announced on October 20, 2025. What’s at Stake The winner will receive ₦250,000, with the prize pot potentially doubling to ₦500,000 thanks to an affiliate partner. More importantly, the challenge offers visibility, recognition, and the chance to be noticed by industry professionals. Judging with Integrity All entries will be shortlisted in-house, and the best three performances will be sent to an independent judging panel made up of respected voices in the film industry. Judges will score based on creativity, delivery, and emotional impact — ensuring fairness and merit. More Than a Competition The Skudan Monologue Challenge is about more than prize money. It’s about discovery, empowerment, and inspiration. We want to show that Nigerian talent is limitless — and that even a one-minute performance can spark a career. Join Us If you’re an aspiring actor, this is your moment. If you know someone with a gift for performance, share the challenge with them. At Skudan, we’re building a future where stories are not just told but lived — and we want you to be part of it.  The Skudan Monologue Challenge 2025 is live. Take the stage, own your moment, and let your talent speak. Our feature on BellaNaija, please use link : https://www.bellanaija.com/2025/09/skudan-production-monologue-challenge/
